When are the gas prices supposed to go up? Just asking because I was told by "educated" liberals that they were going to go throught the roof, but all I see are prices going down, especially in my home state of Ohio!!!

Now, I’m not sure your imaginary friends on the left were predicting higher gas prices, as they would have known that trump couldn’t sustain the 2.6% GDP growth that was forecast in January 2025 when Biden left office. But it’s true it’s unlikely they thought trump could SHRINK the economy (-0.3%) in just 100 days.
Even tanking our own economy will make a big dent in Japan, as we account for over 20% of global oil consumption. Throw in some whacky, ever-changing tariffs on China and you’re really tanking demand!
That takes a special sort of massive incompetence.
Here’s a pro tip: If you want lower gas prices, just tank the global economy!
